Investment: EUR 12 million

It all started with a challenge

ELDRIVE is an international company developing a network of electric vehicle charging stations in Lithuania. New to the country’s business environment, and with no previous experience in construction and RE development, ELDRIVE was looking for a partner that could take charge of the project as a whole – from concept to implementation. The company also wanted to have several operational stations within a short period.

The project required funding and land suitable for ensuring sufficient electric capacity.

Since the land lots chosen for the project were strategically located next to highways, the entrances and the layout of the stations had to be coordinated with AB VIA LIETUVA. The project also required a recognisable design for the charging stations.

Our solutions

KENOVA turned the idea into reality, taking care of its implementation at every stage on behalf of the client. This included market research, purchasing land adjacent to major roads, and developing a unique concept for the project, encompassing not only the charging stations themselves, but also the CAFFEINE and NARVESEN cafés, as well as areas for work and leisure. With everything in place, we proceeded with the design stage, quickly obtained building permits, arranged the necessary tenders, and now continue to supervise the ongoing construction process.

Progress and results

Despite ELDRIVE being a newcomer to the Lithuanian market, the network of EV charging stations is growing without impediment. With matters related to procuring funding and risks inherent to construction projects off their shoulders, our clients can focus on their core business. They also benefit from our knowledge of the Lithuanian market, namely: its legal framework, construction-related processes, etc.
